Dear New Haven Jazz Fan and Supporter,
2016 was a great year for Live Jazz in New Haven and Jazz Haven was at the center of many of these activities. We are now writing to ask for your support.
Our monthly offerings of top shelf jazz performances with Shoreline Piano in North Branford, the regular Wednesday night series at the Owl Shop in New Haven, the jazz programming for our youth, our support for a variety of independent offerings, along with our website, calendar, social media and email resources, have all advanced the culture of jazz in the Greater New Haven community.
In 2016, concerts and live music events were expanded in cooperation with:
Mayor Toni N. Harp, New Haven Board of Alders, New Haven Department of Arts, Culture & Tourism, New Haven Cultural Affairs Commission and YOU, Jazz Haven’s Sponsors and Donors.
With your help, we plan to continue with these and add new activities supporting performances and education about Jazz and allied music in our greater New Haven Community.
We are now busy planning this summer’s festival but we need your support to make it all happen. Plans for 2017 jazz performances are now underway. But we cannot make it all happen without your support, which has been so vital to our past success. Let us remind you that Jazz Haven is a not-for-profit volunteer organization. We depend totally on the generosity of our supporters. We do not maintain an office and do not have full time paid staff, so every dollar that you contribute goes directly to support Jazz Haven’s education programs, the Festival and the jazz series. Gifts in all amounts are welcome. We ask you to give as generously as you can!
Gifts can be made by PayPal via our Website at: http://jazzhaven.org
Or if you prefer you, can send a check to Jazz Haven at P.O. Box 3011, New Haven, CT 06515. Please include your name, address and e-mail address on your PayPal contribution. If you do NOT want your name listed as one of Jazz Haven’s supporters please let us know. All gifts are fully tax-deductible to the extent provided by law.
