The Side Door at Old Lyme Inn Presents: “Back In The Swing Celebration 2022!”

It’s BACK and it’s BIGGER and BETTER than ever!

Join us under the big tent on the lawn of The Side Door Jazz Club at Old Lyme Inn and celebrate world-class live music with some of the world’s greatest musicians!  The fun begins Friday, September 9th and goes through Saturday, September 10th!

Saturday, September 10th (gates open at 3:30pm):

6:30-7:45 – Katie Thiroux Trio featuring Special Guest Melissa Aldana

8:15-9:30 – Kenny Garrett & Sounds From The Ancestors

EVENT POLICIES & PROCEDURES

PARKING – Two offsite parking lots will be available. Parking lots will open at 5:15pm. (Please see parking map below)

Parking Lot 1 – Lyme Art Association

Parking Lot 2 – Florence Griswold Museum

THERE WILL BE NO FESTIVAL PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE OLD LYME INN/SIDE DOOR.

WHAT TO BRING: Lawn chairs, beach chairs, blankets (lawn ticket holders only, no higher than 30”, seats are provided for all tent ticket holders)

WHAT NOT TO BRING: Outside food or beverage/alcohol, coolers, pets or non-service animals, large purses/bags, glass containers, professional video/photo equipment, glassware

COVID STATEMENT: Unfortunately, COVID is still a part of our lives with varying degrees of case numbers and variants as times goes on. We are constantly monitoring official government health authority websites and the news in order to best assess whether to implement any additional safety measures. As of now, the event will be held with guests being asked to take personal safety measures as they see fit (I.e. wearing a mask, social distancing, hand sanitizing, etc). By purchasing a ticket to this event, you consent that you will be personally responsible for any and all personal safety measures you take. The Side Door at Old Lyme Inn will follow any and all federal, state, and local mandated or recommended health precautions and guidelines.

INCLEMENT WEATHER STATEMENT: This is a rain or shine event! If severe weather is observed in the area, announcements will be made from the stage including the severity of the storm, evacuation and/or event suspension procedures.In the case of rain, lawn seated patrons should plan accordingly in regards to rain gear. In the event of a major weather event (I.e. thunderstorms, hurricanes, etc.) a minute-by-minute assessment will take place and decisions will be made with safety always taking precedent.
