SUMMARY:Ryan Sands Residency at the Buttonwood Tree
DESCRIPTION:New Haven/Orange\, CT native\, Ryan Sands\, returns to Buttonwood Tree after two years to bring some exciting new music and projects for his artist residency. Joining him are Hartford’s very own Michael and Anthony Carabello on Friday. Saturday night is Andrew Wilcox. With the Carabello Brothers\, this trio will be time-traveling through the works and words of Black icons with music that fuses electronics\, acoustic\, groove\, and improvisation on Friday night. Saturday night\, Ryan and Andrew are doing a tribute to the late greats Geri Allen and Ralph Peterson Jr. in a duo context. \nBoth shows start at 7pm. Tickets are $20 and can be found online at buttonwoodtree.org or purchased at the door. \n
