Nu Haven Kapelye

Jazz bassist David Chevan appears Sunday, April 16, with the Nu Haven Kapelye at the Charter Oak Cultural Center in Hartford.  The group will be kicking off and closing with klezmer performances, and in between their sets will be a tribute to the groundbreaking 1940-50s Jewish sitcom “The Goldbergs”.  The evening will be hosted by Alissa Wurtzel, CEO of Jewish Family Service of Greater New Haven. Music starts at 6:30 pm. The Charter Oak Cultural Center is located at 21 Charter Oak Ave. in Hartford. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online until Friday, April 14 at 3 pm.  Here’s the link:
