On Saturday Dec 17, 2:30-5:30pm, Bassology performs at Aquila’s Nest Winery, 56 Pole Bridge Road, in Sandy Hook. For this performance I’ll be joined by Andrew Wilcox on keyboards, David Chevan on bass, and Ellynne Rey on vocals. This is a great group for this setting. Ellynne’s got a great swing feel and her interpretation of the Great American Songbook is always worth hearing.

Thursday, July 21, from 7:30-10:30, Bassology will be making their debut at the 1928 Cocktail Club, 1016-1018 Main St Branford, in it’s a new speakeasy style jazz room. Bassology, led by bassist David Chevan, will be alternating Thursday evenings with bassist Jeff Fuller. This Thursday David will be there with Will Bartlett on sax and clarinet, Brian Suto on guitar, and Tido Holtkamp on set.
