The Afro-Semitic Experience

June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Free

The Afro-Semitic Experience will be having a Juneteenth performance concert at the James Blackstone Memorial Library, 758 Main Street in Branford, Connecticut at 6 pm.  This set, in commemoration of Juneteenth, will be focusing on music of enslavement, liberation, and community.  With all that’s been in the news over the past week and beyond we hope you will join us as we sing Unity in the Community and make a joyous noise to celebrate freedom.

Àse and Shalom,

The Afro-Semitic Experience

We merge our musical roots, Jewish and Afro-diasporic melodies and grooves, combining the core concepts of àse and shalompower, action, unity, and peace.
