Dr. Gary Grippo leads a talented group of jazz musicians to join him including the always inventive Barry Ries on drums & trumpet, the brilliant bassist Jeff Fuller, and Dr. G himself on guitar. Special guest is jazz singer extraordinaire Giacomo Gates.

Jazz guitarist Gary Grippo brings his trio to Quattro’s Italian Restaurant in Guilford on Sunday, February 2nd from noon to 3:oo pm. In addition, Dr. Grippo will feature special guest artist Naiomi Wharry who is currently perusing a masters in music for trombone performance at Yale University. Naiomi also has a beautiful singing voice and has been featured recently in a critically acclaimed Billy Holiday tribute.
In the near future she will be headlining at Connecticut’s premier jazz club “The Side Door Jazz Club”. Today you can hear her for FREE (that’s right no music or cover charge!) right here at Quattros in Guilford.
With Wharry will be jazz masters Jeff Fuller on bass & Barry Ries on drums & trumpet. “Dr.G” of WNHU fame will provide lovely jazz guitar accompaniment. This is an event NOT TO MISS! No cover charge.
