TISQ is a group of four professional musicians that perform a wide variety of music, representing classical, jazz, traditional and contemporary musical genres, holding to a philosophy, “that good music is good music no matter the genre”. Some of the composers represented are: JS Bach, WA Mozart, Samuel Barber, Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, George Gershwin, Leonard Bernstein, Scott Joplin, Frank Vasi, as well as traditional American folk and popular music. All have a place side by side on a TISQ concert program. All music is arranged by Tenor Saxophonist and composer Frank Vasi.
Along with Frank Vasi, the members of TISQ are Chris Herbert, Steve Mustakos, and Tim Moran. For this show, the quartet will play compositions by Miles Davis, Mozart, Thelonious Monk, Frank Vasi, Dave Brubeck, Samuel Barber, and Scott Joplin.
